MMPE is an aggressive method of recovering free-phase petroleum product, contaminated groundwater, and contaminant laden vapors.
- A liquid ring pump is used to create a high vacuum that is applied near the product/water interface through a stinger pipe.
- Recovered liquid is pumped to an onsite tanker for offsite disposal.
Zava coordinates the tanker rental, water disposal, and conducts maintenance throughout the week. Following completion of the event, Zava will prepare a summary report including total volume of product recovered as estimated from measurements collected during the event.
