Steel Splinters is a creative side of Zava Industrial, Inc. that will change the work environment for employees. They have free will to create items that come from recycled materials and machinery gathered from different projects. Here are a few samples.
This control cabinet came out of an old mill and while majority of the equipment was destroyed we managed to spare this piece and is now on display at the same mill. We custom built the table out of refurbished wood. The metal leg and vise were fabricated to look old and rustic. Vise was bought brand new.
This metal fire pit was built by an employee that wanted to make a birthday present, so he took scrap metal and fabricated a pretty cool looking piece. They loved it.
This was built from parts that were thrown out for trash! So we took the temperature gauge mounted on a steel pipe and fabricated and heavy steel base made from a handle off of a gate valve and a drive gear for the bottom. The display was sanded , sprayed with a clear coat which was then turned into a nice display. Given for another present.
